Good morning! I have a question regarding the cat raw food diet: What is the best way to transition my 2 cats away from dry food to raw food using your recipe above? Some say to slowly transfer over mixing the 2 products over the period of a week or two.. and others say withhold dry food for 10 hours then start with raw diet. Help? Please? I don’t want to make my kids sick!
Oh, and second question: Do you have a dog food recipe version of this? Duke would go crazy over this!
Thank you, Renee!
It’s safe to remove present food and feed raw food immediately! If they don’t take to it right away, give it a minute or two. You can sprinkle some liver powder on top, sometimes that’s the magic for transition. Feeding raw can be so easy, so trust that you are doing the most loving gesture for your animals. The product is also canine focused and there are some slight ingredient differences and minor changes in recipe. No worries, if your dog eats the raw cat food, he’s going to be just fine! It’s worth the effort to visit the website for more information on the product. Please, always feel free to contact Felice from FelineInstincts.com. She’s the inspiration behind this supplement and I’m a solid supporter of raw food diet for dogs and cats. Her product makes it so easy to feed my animals and I encourage you to at least give it one try!
Thank you Renee for getting back to me so quickly!!! Your response brought tears to my eyes.. not sure what that strong reaction was all about, but so pleased you responded. I am off to make my purchase for all my kids. They totally deserve this.. I have been cooking for Duke for about a year now, and he is pretty good with it.. but this sounds even better! He’s an ol’ fella so I want him to have the most nummy and nutritious food. So many supplements, and some not so good! Thank you for your input!
